Job Description

Our client is looking to recruit an experienced Head of Development to lead and manage the Software Development team across the MENA region.

You will be responsible for software development strategy, implementation roadmap, methodology, engineering practices, processing design and component design. You will also be responsible for the line management of a team people involved in analysis, development, test, build and release.

Responsibilities/Duties:
• Lead team of code developers, quality assurance engineers and IT administrators to develop and roll out product road map.
• Leads project teams in developing/building IT solutions to meet business requirements.
• Play the role of Software Architecture that integrates all external web services and internal
• Responsible for R&D to understand latest trends in development frameworks and cutting-edge web services that would allow platform to provide best-in-class services.
• Contributes to strategic planning meetings and provides guidance and expertise on system options, risk, costs vs. benefits and impact on business goals.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer of Software Engineering
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
• 10+ years of experience in Java /PHP programming.
• 5+years of experience in leading developer team
• Full Stack development experience
• Experience in development of back-ends that integrate with apps in the front-end.
• Experience working with Agile/Scrum Development environments
• Strong UI / UX skill
• Strong experience working in cloud environments, especially Amazon Web Services.
• Stong experience in e-commerce/digital sector.
