Construction Project Manager - Nassau, Bahamas
We have an exciting Construction Project Manager position in Nassau, Bahamas for a high-end villa project for a high-level client on a 2 year project.
Role:
You will be responsible for planning and overseeing an ongoing, broad and high-standard construction project which is already partially constructed.
You will ensure that the interests of the owners are protected at all stages of your work.
You will be the owners’ representative and will have to act accordingly.
You will have to ensure the project is completed in a timely fashion and within budget.
Key responsibilities :
•Act as the link between:
o QS – Quality Surveyors,
o Architect,
o The owners,
• Plan and coordinate project resources and subcontractors,
• Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis,
• Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with owners as well as other staff members,
• Use and continually develop leadership skills,
• Handle the administrative and accounting aspects of the project,
• Coordinate with the accounting department for all payments,
• Monitor progress,
• Oversee the logistic aspects in a proactive manner,
• Respect time schedules,
• Keep owners informed the entire way,
• Your task will have to be accomplished within the confines of the owners’ goals and vision.
Qualifications and Experience:
We are looking for a person who can justify of a verifiable experience in this field.
• 10-15 years of project management and related experience,
• An engineer degree or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification,
• Proven ability to solve problems creatively,
• Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices,
• Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle,
• Excellent analytical skills,
• Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful,
• Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline.
